This policy explains what data Dr. Sync handles and how. Dr. Sync is made by the developer of Dr. Sync, reachable at gmnullptr@gmail.com.

1. What Dr. Sync is

Dr. Sync is a program that runs on a medical practitioner's own computer. It copies the practitioner's appointments from their online booking platform into a dedicated Google Calendar in the practitioner's own Google account, in one direction only. There is no Dr. Sync server. Nothing Dr. Sync reads is sent to the developer or to anyone other than the services named below.

2. Data from the booking platform

Dr. Sync signs in to the booking platform as the practitioner and reads their appointment calendar for the current week and the five weeks after it.
It uses: the date and time of each appointment, the service type, whether the patient is new, whether the appointment awaits confirmation, how often it was rescheduled, and the appointment number.
The platform's answer also contains patient details such as names, phone numbers and notes. Dr. Sync does not write them to Google Calendar and does not store them, unless the practitioner explicitly changes the program's privacy setting to include them.
If the practitioner chooses to save their booking-platform e-mail and password (for automatic sign-in), they are stored on the computer encrypted by the operating system (macOS Keychain or Windows Data Protection) and are sent only to the platform's own sign-in page.

3. Google user data

Dr. Sync asks Google for two permissions, and uses them only for the purpose shown:

calendar.app.created — to create one secondary calendar and to create, update and delete the appointment events in it. With this permission Dr. Sync cannot see or change the events of any other calendar.
calendar.calendarlist.readonly — to find its own calendar again, for example after the program is reinstalled, by reading the names and descriptions in the list of calendars. Dr. Sync does not read the events of other calendars.

The Google authorization (a refresh token) and the calendar's ID are stored only on the practitioner's computer. Google user data is used only to provide the calendar synchronisation that the practitioner set up. It is not sold, not shared with anyone, not used for advertising, not used to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and not read by people.

Dr. Sync's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Alerts via Telegram (optional)

If whoever installs Dr. Sync enables alerts, the program sends short status messages through Telegram to the chats they linked — for example "platform session expired, since 09:12". These messages contain the computer's name, the problem and the time. They never contain patient data, appointment details, passwords or tokens.

5. What stays on the computer

Dr. Sync's data folder holds: its settings, the booking-platform session cookies, the Google authorization, a copy of the events it last wrote to Google Calendar (so it can detect changes), a record of past sync runs, and log files. Log files have personal data removed. Everything is kept until the program and its data folder are deleted.

6. Your control

Revoke Google access at any time: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting that calendar removes the copied appointments from Google.
"Forget" in the program deletes the saved booking-platform password; uninstalling removes the data folder.

7. Patients

The practitioner decides to use Dr. Sync and is responsible for their patients' data (the data controller under the GDPR). The developer of Dr. Sync receives no patient data and does not process it. Patients with questions about their data should contact their practitioner.

8. Security

Dr. Sync's control page is reachable only from the computer it runs on. Connections to the booking platform, Google and Telegram use HTTPS. Saved passwords are encrypted by the operating system.

Използва: дата и час на всеки час, вида на услугата, дали пациентът е нов, дали часът чака потвърждение, колко пъти е преместван и номера на часа.
Отговорът на платформата съдържа и данни за пациентите, като имена, телефони и бележки. Dr. Sync не ги записва в Google Календар и не ги съхранява, освен ако лекарят изрично не промени настройката за поверителност на програмата.
Ако лекарят запази имейла и паролата си за платформата (за автоматично влизане), те се пазят на компютъра, криптирани от операционната система (macOS Keychain или Windows Data Protection), и се изпращат само към страницата за вход на платформата.

3. Данни от Google

Dr. Sync иска от Google две разрешения и ги използва само за посочената цел:

4. Известия чрез Telegram (по избор)

5. Какво остава на компютъра

От дневниците са премахнати личните данни. Всичко се пази, докато програмата и папката ѝ не бъдат изтрити.

6. Вашият контрол

Можете да оттеглите достъпа на Google по всяко време: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Изтриването на този календар премахва копираните часове от Google.
„Забрави“ в програмата изтрива запазената парола за платформата; деинсталирането премахва папката с данни.

7. Пациенти

Лекарят решава да използва Dr. Sync и отговаря за данните на пациентите си (администратор на лични данни по смисъла на GDPR). Разработчикът на Dr. Sync не получава и не обработва данни за пациенти. Пациентите могат да отправят въпроси за данните си към своя лекар.

8. Сигурност

Контролната страница на Dr. Sync е достъпна само от компютъра, на който работи програмата. Връзките към платформата за записване, Google и Telegram използват HTTPS. Запазените пароли се криптират от операционната система.
